*PROBLEM*
Couple owning gite worried about catching Covid – we were obliged to eat dinner alone freezing outside (wearing coats) – it was 12c!. We complained and response was initially agressive and then they offered a digestif. Promised that breakfast would be served indoors – it was – with all doors and windows fully open – they refused to close them – we were absolutely frozen before starting on the chemin. We’re all sensitive about Covid, but this unreasonable constraint (in cold weather) should be clearly publicized or perhaps the gite closed until their Covid issue can be overcome.
